For the past four years, Maharishi School has hosted a Spring Raffle, bringing in several hundred participants from not only Fairfield, but around the country, especially alumni. This annual tradition, now in its fourth year, promises to offer exciting Grand Prizes, as well as an online Gala Event.
Raffle tickets are being sold online at http://maharishischool.betterworld.org until the evening of May 18 at 8 p.m. That night, the Spring Raffle culminates with a Virtual Gala Event from 6:30-8:30 p.m. All are invited to attend.
Participants can choose to purchase tickets for either one or any of five amazing prizes, including $1,000 Airbnb Credit, Aventon Soltera.2 eBike, BOSE deluxe home theater system, $500 Ticketmaster gift certificate, and $500 credit to Easy Plant, a curated selection of top-quality indoor plants.
Tickets are $25 each, or five for $100 (all of which need to be in the same prize category). By purchasing tickets for only one prize, you increase your chances of winning that dream vacation—or you can spread out your purchases and buy any number of tickets for a chance to win several different prizes.
While there’s nothing like winning an Airbnb vacation or tickets to your favorite concert in Kansas City, this year’s family-friendly online Spring Raffle will be a real celebration. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening May 18, join Alumni hosts, including some of our most recent graduates from the Class of 2023: Polo Altynski-Ross, Sara Quevedo-Valls, Gabriel Roesler, and Devrishi Eisner. They are certain to entertain, make you laugh, and keep you guessing who will win that next prize.
Lots of Bonus Giveaways will also be drawn randomly throughout the night, many of which have been donated by local stores and restaurants, as well as by Maharishi School alumni. Anyone who purchases a raffle ticket and attends this Virtual Gala Event on May 18 will be eligible to win.
Throughout the evening, prerecorded videos from alumni will be broadcast in which they talk about their personal and professional lives. A few of these former students include Girindra Selleck (‘14), working at a law firm in New York, Dariana Travis (‘06), working at Providence College as Assistant Director for professional skills in student services, and Yale Shaw (’09), working in San Mateo, California as a Program Manager and Senior Industrial Designer.
You’ll hear what Maharishi School Seniors have to say, as they are interviewed by Dr. Richard Beall, who will also describe what’s changed at Maharishi School in recent years.
The evening will culminate with selecting five Grand Prize Raffle winners. For questions or more information, please contact Laura Bordow: lbordow@maharishischool.org.
